In the course of raising money and procuring equipment, we have met with astonishing generosity.
A small network of people has been built up who have given us advice, equipment and various services.
They include a registrar at Moorfields Eye Hospital, Global Sight Solutions who build eye hospitals, a wonderful man who procures and refurbishes ophthalmic equipment and a packing company.
We retain our close relationship with the Friends of The Gambia Association. They have all earned our sincere gratitude.
